Welcome Back

I know it has been awhile but I am back now and boy do we have a lot of catching up to do. First off we added a new member to our family Liam Daniel born 10/10/2011 and he is the most precious thing I have ever layed my eyes on. We are so happy and excited for our growing little family. I was in school but decided it was best to take a lil break while adjusting to mommyhood. I plan to start back up again in the fall. Life in paradise is going great Danny has been very busy at work and when he is off he is surfing and being an amazing daddy. Liam and I went to San Diego around the holidays so he got to meet my side of the family. Of course it was love at first sight when they saw him. It was very ''interesting'' flying alone with a 2 month old during the holiday season but we survived and it was well worth it. Trip #2 should be coming up shortly. All in all I have a feeling 2012 is going to be a great year. Here are some facts of our lil ''almost'' 5 month old:

*weighs 15.6lbs and is 25 1/2 in long

*he will reach out and grab your face or a toy oh and molly too

*loves to stand he can hold onto the crib standing up

*loves his jumperoo

*sleeps5-6 hrs wakes to eat then back to sleep till 7 am

*does not digest cereal yet so no solids

*smiles all the time

*loves to laugh and giggle

Fun N the Sun

Sorry I am not updating more, this has been a crazy month. So to update everyone I have been very busy with school. I have decided to change my career and go back to school to be an RN.Danny is doing really well at his job, busy as can be. He works alot of hours so sometimes I feel like I barely get to see him. But I guess thats what is to be expected of a cops wife. Other news is we are moving into a cute little house in the beg of Jan. It was my good friend Olivia's house originally but now she is moving back to Cali so, we are going to take it over. I am so sad that Olivia is moving. She has been such a good friend to me and I will miss her very much.

Olivia and I decided to have a fun filled day in the beautiful North Shore of Kauai. We probably will be doing this alot since she is only going to be here for 1 more month.:( Here are some photos of our beach day!!

Queens Bath

Danny thought that it was time to begin with my Kauai adventures. We drove to Princeville which was on the North Shore and began to make our hike to Queen's Bath. Luckily the hike was pretty easy because im not the best hiker haha. When we got there right away I fell in love. The hike alone was beautiful and there was a small little waterfall that was located at the bottom of the hill. Queen's Bath is amazing, it's this little pool of salt water with rocks seperating it from the ocean. I felt like I was on a season of the bachelor. It was beautiful and so romantic. We had an amazing day and hopefully next time we visit Queen's Bath we can have it to ourselves lol:)

Alaskan Honeymoon

September 9th 2010 we made our way all the way North to Vancouver B.C. We had a blast in Vancouver we spent the whole day walking around the city, shopping, and eating. Downtown Vancouver had an amazing night life and it was so much fun. After 2 days it was time to set sail on our Alaskan Cruise on the Diamond Princess. The ship was amazing and the food was incredible(we literally gained about 10-15 lbs). I am happy to say we both had no sea sickness :)...Our first port of call was Ketchican, where we explored the city it's a small little fisherman's town. Our second port of call was Juneau we started the morning with a tram up 200 feet to Mount Roberts followed by a hike to the top (I almost diddn't even make it lol)...Than we went kayaking, we were so lucky and got to see so many bald eagles, and seals. At one point the seals were even chasing our kayak, I was pretty nervous. We ended our day in Juneau visiting the Mendanhall Glacier. It was so beautiful. Our next port of call was Skagway, we statred the day with a 2 hour long train ride through the white pass yukon railroad. The scenery was unbelievable. The mountains were so green and some with snow. We had a blast. We spent the next 2 days visiting Glacier Bay and College Fjord. We actually got to see the glacier calve off into the ocean. Our last day was in Anchorage and we ended the trip with a pirate pub crawl and explored all the bars...So we got to fly back home with a hang-over..All in all the trip was amazing we had perfect weather and had a great time. I feel so blessed that we got to have such a perfect honeymoon.I def think that everyone should visit Alaska atleast once in there life...

You Can Take The Girl Out Of The City But....

I was born and raised in Las Vegas NV.Growing up I couldn't wait to leave. When I moved to San Diego I knew I was "HOME".It had everything that I loved great malls amazing food,The San Diego Chargers, and a fun night life. When my Husband (then boyfriend) told me we were moving to Kauai, I thought "GREAT",Who wouldn't want to live in Hawaii?.I thought that I could be this super outdoors kinda girl.Well I was wrong. You can take the GIRL out of the CITY but you can't take the CITY out of the GIRL.So now after about a year of Hibernation and Sulking of how I missed my friends and family and silly things such as target, malls, mexican food, night life.I decided NO MORE!!!I am going to push myself to try different things and break out of this "BUBBLE" I have put myself in.So this City girl is ready for some good Kauai country FUN!!!!!:)
